Educational Seminars
Our seminars are designed to equip teams with essential skills in critical thinking, individual and group decision-making, and the cognitive biases that influence mental processes. Grounded in cognitive science, these one-day sessions go beyond theory. Participants engage with real-world scenarios and practical exercises that make the concepts immediately applicable. Whether you're aiming to improve internal decision-making, enhance communication, or build a more analytically minded team, our seminars provide actionable tools for lasting impact.

Each of our seminars is created as a one-day experience, combining 5 to 6 hours of active content with short breaks throughout the day. Currently, you can choose from three seminar options, each focused on a distinct topic: critical thinking, individual decision-making, or group decision-making. Every seminar explores a unique set of cognitive biases specifically related to its theme, offering fresh insights and targeted strategies.

The sessions blend theory with practice, including a range of interactive activities, case discussions, and small group exercises. To ensure a dynamic and personalised experience, we encourage participants to ask questions at any time, either publicly or anonymously. Because active engagement and discussion are central to the seminar format, the ideal group size is 6 to 12 participants. This allows us to maintain a high standard of delivery, ensuring that each individual receives detailed answers to their specific questions.
Critical Thinking & Cognitive Biases in Practice
This seminar offers a deep dive into the foundations of critical thinking - what it is, how we think, and the factors that shape our reasoning. You will explore essential principles for clear, logical thought and learn how to identify and manage common cognitive biases that distort how we evaluate information and form conclusions. All theoretical concepts are connected with practical guidance for applying them in real-world situations.
Decision Making Strategies & Cognitive Biases
This seminar explores how people make decisions, examining key strategies, psychological principles, and the factors that influence our choices. You will gain insights from areas such as expert decision-making and uncover common (and lesser known) cognitive biases that can lead to suboptimal decisions. All theoretical concepts are paired with practical guidance for applying them in real-world professional and personal decisions.
Group Decision Making & Social Cognitive Biases
This seminar looks into the dynamics of group decision-making, examining how individuals interact and make choices together. You will explore collaboration techniques and how groupthink, social pressures, and other biases affect our decisions. We will discuss whether group decisions are truly better and provide strategies for improving collaboration and quality in team settings. All theoretical concepts are connected with practical scenarios for enhancing group decision-making in real-world scenarios.
Our seminars are independent of each other, as each focuses on a unique topic with distinct principles and strategies. You don’t need to follow a particular order. Simply choose the one that best suits your current needs. However, if you’re considering taking all three seminars, we recommend starting with the Critical Thinking & Cognitive Biases seminar. This seminar covers the most foundational principles, which will provide a solid base for understanding the more advanced concepts explored in the Decision Making and Group Decision Making seminars.
